Coolhand hot plate holder review

Zec Richardson is a blogger and reviewer at Satonmybutt and is part of our in-house team taking a closer look at some of our products, today he is looking at the Coolhand hot plate holder.

Getting hot plates out of the oven or microwave is a tricky business and usually dealt with using oven gloves or a nearby tea towel.

But there is an alternative that will make this task even easier, especially if you have a disability.

The Coolhand holder simply holds plates (up to an 8mm rim) using the weight of the plate to secure it in the grip of its three rubber pads.

I have been very impressed by this simple kitchen aid. It is very secure.

You can see for your own eye in my video below where I even tried tipping and slightly shaking the Coolhand holder, and the plate stayed firmly in its grip.

The handle has a slightly soft texture and has a recess at the end for your thumb to sit in, so its easy to grip too.

It is a far more secure and easier method than using a tea towel, especially if you have issues with poor grip, making it a great assistant.

If you find a plate too heavy for one hand, then two of these will be perfect.

Priced at £5.95 including VAT, the Coolhand holder is a handy kitchen aid that won’t break the bank.
