Our Cuddly Xmas Critters funny animals Christmas card collection has been specially commissioned and designed by award winning newspaper cartoonist Brian Adcock – a renowned satirical political cartoonist and illustrator, whose work has been featured in a multitude of publications, including The Guardian, Independent and The New Statesman.

This Christmas, Brian puts politics aside and turns his hand to satirising those cuddly balls of fluff that we can all agree to love – our pets. Each skillfully illustrated card features a festive insight into the animal antics of our domesticated furry friends, with 6 jolly designs guaranteed to bring mirth this Christmas season.

Each pack contains six cards with bright white envelopes, with one of each design. The inside card reads: “Season’s Greetings”.

All our cards have been created by people who are disabled themselves, have a long-term health condition or a connection to disability.

Brian Adcock is regularly featured as a political cartoonist for The Independent, The Guardian and he the won Scottish Cartoonist of the Year award for the third time in 2014 for his satirical work in The Scotland on Sunday newspaper. His work can be seen amongst all the greatest cartoonists of the modern age in the National Museum of Cartoons.

 

Brian Adcock has been a professional illustrator/political cartoonist since 2000. He currently works regularly for the Independent and has worked for The Guardian, The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday, The Prague Post, Teaching Scotland and various other publications. He has also illustrated the children’s book “Cinnamon and the Bat People”. In 2014 he won “cartoonist of the year” at the Scottish press awards for the third time and “Political Cartoon of the year” at the Political Cartoon Society Awards.
