The Active Hands limb difference aid is designed to help disabled people with limb differences regain, maintain and give people the independence to complete day-to-day tasks.

People with cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s and dysmelia (a congenital condition in which people have missing, extra or distorted limbs) or those who have sustained a limb difference through amputation, injury or illness will definitely benefit from the Active Hands limb difference aid.

The aid works by using a double strap system:

  • First, fasten the wrist section.
  • Next, use the inner velcro strap to fix the item you wish to grip in place in your palm.
  • Lastly, use the longer strap to firmly secure the item in place.

All Active Hands gripping aids are built to last. The aids are made from tough webbing and comfortable but durable neoprene, which is used to make wet suits. The limb difference aid will withstand regular use, even for strenuous activities. On top of all that they are also machine washable.

The limb difference aid is available in one standard size, please refer to the size guide below to ensure it will fit.

Please note: the Active Hands limb difference gripping aid is sold as a single left or right glove, not as a pair.
