How Hannah Ensor used her disabilities to create a business

Earlier this year, we launched our new shop, selling a wide range of stylish disability living aids. We only supply high-quality products from trusted suppliers, many of whom have created their products based on their experiences as a disabled person. Image is a photograph of a blue, circular keyring with an illustration of a stickman with a dizzy head and aching joints. Text reads: "My disability is not always visible"

Disability not Visible Keyring

A 58mm round ‘button’ keyring reading “My disability is not always visible”, with a stickman illustration.

These badges have a sturdy metal backing with a bottle opener. We wanted the keyring itself to be sturdy and long lasting. The version with the bottle opener was the sturdiest and so it’s the one we chose to stock.

Disability not Obvious Keyring

A 58mm round ‘button’ keyring reading “My disability is not obvious”, with a stickman illustration.

Image is a photograph of a poster attached to a door. On the poster a stickman waves and smiles from his front door, with a package at his feet, whilst another stickman smiles and is seen to be keeping 2 meters in distance away. Text reads: "Please observe the 2m rule - thank you"

Covid-19 social distancing sign

Stickman Communications – This COVID-19 social distancing poster makes a great reminder about social distancing rules. This is especially useful for everyone who is self isolating or in quarantine.

In addition to using it on the front door to remind delivery people to keep their distance, it may also be useful to place a visual reminder of how far 2m is – for example placing the doormat 2 metres from the door, or painting a line on the ground.

Stickman Communications are also offering a free, downloadable version of the poster for you to print at home – click here for more info.
